CGiii Comment

It's not 'lesbian' per se - but, it is written and directed by the all-guns-blazing Sally Wainwright. Indeed...too many guns with 'woke' triggers, all Riot Women needed was a script editor [with balls] to reel in the out-of-control Wainwright...in this relentless, man-despising extravaganza!

All the men are either pussy-whipped dweebs or chronically toxic...to the nth degree - misandry, as vivid as this, is just plain exhausting. The other infuriating bone of contention is the massive plot-hole surrounding the adoption itself...locality of biological and adoptive parents has always been a key issue in the process, the further apart, the better...as it appears, not the case in Hebden Bridge! There are other 'pot-holes'...but, they can be filled in with the next series.

Undoubtedly, Riot Women will be perceived as a crowd-pleaser...with reservation! For the next series, get rid of all the 'woke' bells and whistles, all those silly flags, all that man-hating...and then, dear Sally, you will have a crowd-pleaser...without reservation!
