What an enlightening film...
It could have - quite easily - been a vicious tirade against the Hutterite community.
Instead, Kelly Hofer delivers an eloquent view of a way of life little of us know about. There is still respect and affection...and, the optimism that change will occur.
It really is a delightful film.

Kelly Hofer knew he wasn't a fit from the start. His secret drove him from his Hutterite colony, it was the only home he had ever known. When he was 19 he drove to Calgary and came out on Facebook. The reaction was extreme.
