This is exactly what every short filmmaker should aspire to...structured, layered and textured. Bleak, black and hysterical.
What more can you ask for? More from Joachim Back...sadly, he has - to date - made only one more film....an elongated ad for Chivas Regal!!! An Oscar is not a free ticket to fame and glory!
Seriously, this is a mini masterpiece.

A prying neighbor, a glassy-eyed drug dealer, and a husband brandishing both a weapon and a vendetta make up the welcome wagon.
