Shanghai provides the setting for this scatter-shot drama that peers into the squalid margins of modern life. After a thorough orientation from his female boss, a newly hired male prostitute is sent out on his first job -- to a client who's fond of leashes and collars. Elsewhere, a female prostitute… More seeks out a medical service that will supposedly restore her virginity. But later a client shows more interest in the woman's sexual history than in her ostensible purity.
