Emergency Exit

The world is reduced to a speeding bus with no one outside, aiming to an unclear destination named Circunvalación. Fourteen individuals traverse surreal landscapes as they fabricate their own identities: actresses, directors, performers, religious figures and ordinary people, all with their own languages ??and their own dramas, yet capable of understanding one another through the language of cinema.
A surrealist road movie, in which the seventh art serves as an explicit and implicit glue between disparate conversations, in a unity of place suspended like limbo. Memories jumble between the words and the meandering eroticism, thanks to the grace of the performances of some (like Japanese director Naomi Kawase, here an actress) or the deliberately campy performances of others (like Arielle Dombasle and Marina Paredes); a mad and slightly gothic carousel that evokes the great and fruitful work of director Luis Miñarro as a European producer.
