CGiii Comment

1984 versus Brave New World...take your pick, it's all doom and gloom...for the future generations.

What a depressing and enlightening film. Those who are not members of Gen Z are - basically, in the eyes of the Zeers - luddites! After watching this, we luddites are utterly delighted to be luddites...although binning the iPhone seems a bit rash and harsh!

Seemingly, it's a small price to pay...being manipulated by the tech giants...all for a platform on which to play. The appeal is plain to see, fame & fortune are dangled - like great big cash crops - in front of the Zeers eyes...yes, you too can be an 'influencer' - neither a brain nor experience are necessary.

These newbies want the world to be a better place...there's nothing wrong with that! But...when the loss of democracy, the potential for civil war are distinct possibilities...then, the price is way too high. It really is terrifying...because, you can see it being played out...in front of our very eyes.

Zeers will watch this film, reflect for a second or two...then reject it because it was made - with an agenda - by a non-Zeer.

The subject - in itself - is absolutely colossal...Liz Smith has delivered a candid and far-reaching fraction of an ever-evolving tip - it really is food for thought...definitely, for those who want their thoughts fed. This is terror.
