A child-abusing cello teacher...

Ambitious and not wholly successful...due to some weak writing and amateur performances (by the adults, the mother especially).

There is a nascent talent...but, in desperate need of radical tuning.

The(ir) Blurb...

Lisa, a thirteen year old girl, is being sexually abused by her cello teacher. He also takes advantage of a young boy in his apartment building. On the day her beloved pet fish dies, Lisa tries to tell her mother about the abuse, but instead has to turn to the police. The boy in the building stabs the pedophile and he is taken to the same hospital where Lisa's mother is seeking redress for a wound she suffered looking for her daughter. A bleak, quiet, tortuous drama told with stark simplicity and power.
