Women are the focal point here for von Praunheim, the longtime gay activist and filmmaker whose other LGBTQ documentaries include I Am My Own Woman and (also screening in this series) Tally Brown, New York; the director joins Ulli Buschbacher, Anna Steegmann, and Claudia Steinberg as they arrive in NYC from Germany, taking the ferry and subway while looking for love. The cinematographer is Jeff Preiss (Let’s Get Lost).
