CGiii Comment

The Idealist. The Activist.

Is there such a thing as the ideal activist? Perhaps...Gandhi, obviously, springs to mind...with his principle of Satyagraha. But, it takes the greatest of minds to implement peaceful protest to success. Gandhi had that mind and delivered success...on the grandest of scales.

There are no great minds here nor are there any successes...here, they are irrational, idealistic narcissists who revel in their glory while forgetting the cause.

It's not the greatest insight into activism ever made...but, it does - amply - show how anyone can be swept away by a group mentality. The danger occurs when that group mentality splits.

Winston Churchill said, "The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists." Discuss. Sadly, this film didn't!
