You Belong to Me

Country: United States, Language: English, 82 mins

  • Director: Sam Zalutsky
  • Writer: Sam Zalutsky
  • Producer: Molly Conners; Anita Gabrosek

CGiii Comment

This is a small surprise - Zalutsky succeeds in putting a tight little thriller together on a small budget, a little reminiscent of Misery.

D'Arbanville is really rather good as the landlady and a joy to watch. However, it does lose steam by the end - a little too simplistic and shallow.

There is evidence of talent here - just a pity that the director opted for an easy way out.
