CGiii Comment

Same sex marriages, legal hash and the summer of legalisation - Canada is the new cool, the freedom destination - freer than the land of the free.

But, with a turnaround on dope and an attempt to stop gay marriage, Canada entered, with American money, a crisis.

Thankfully, resistance helped save some legislation and boys and girls can still marry each other but the dope is still in jeopardy.

Canada re-asserts itself, breaking the chains that bind them to the USA - they refused to partake in Iraq - let them continue to resist the whimsies of America.

Let Canada be Canada.

Illuminating and surprising.

The(ir) Blurb...

A look into Canada's incredible strides with progressive politics, while at the same time the U.S. has become increasingly polarized on such issues as the Drug War and Gay-marriage. Canada now presents a sharp contrast between itself and its southern neighbor, making converts of many a U.S. citizen.
