When you have to comment on the editing...it is either dreadful...or, worth mentioning. Here, the editing is first class.
So many emotions in such a short time...brought to life with excellent cinematography, sound design...and, savagely precise direction.
An absolute gem of a film.
Troubled marine Ryan Cutter is forced to wrestle a guilty conscience as he juggles an important baby scan with his pregnant girlfriend Claire, and increasing suspicions surrounding the disappearance of his friend and fellow Marine, Johno.
Caught between two lives, the pressure mounts for Cutter when Johno never turns up. Overwhelmed by guilt and fear, Cutter relives the previous night, revealing the truth of what happened.
Only by facing up to who he really is can Cutter ever hope to find peace.
