In better directorial hands...this could have been something more than it is...

A decent budget, stalwart comedy actors  of the time and a script that is just the right side of risque.

Danny La Rue exudes charm throughout...delivering endless doubles entendres.

It's good old-fashioned fun marred by an incompetent and unimaginative director.
