Alex Barlow goes to Barpop in Manchester. After coming out of the club, he is attacked by a well known murderer, drug trafficking, racist homophobe called Thomas Dickson. Alex reports it to the police and despite Thomas getting arrested and tried, Alex's mental health deteriorates, borderlining suicidal.
