CGiii Comment

Full of supposed existential qualities and regarded, by many, as a minimalist masterpiece which means little dialogue and a bit artsy-fartsy.

Harry Dean Stanton plays a creepy homo cowboy - because, in the 70s, all homos were creepy.

To appreciate this, you have to really like road movies and racing (and a moaning girl) otherwise, it's a poorly lit boys-and-their-toys dirge to masculinity.

The Driver and The Mechanic are 2 car freaks driving a 1955 Chevy through the southwestern U.S., looking for other cars to race. They're totally dedicated to their car, and speak with each other only when necessary.
