In the style of Taiwanese new wave film, a story about unrequited love between two high school lesbians. Wen and Ann are best friends in high school swimming team.

In the midst of summer, as Wen spends more hours in the pool training for the upcoming competition, she and Ann become estranged.

Years later, Ann realises that that summer was when Wen loved her the most.
