CGiii Comment

Elvis's grand-daughter as a skateboarding lesbian, Kylie Minogue covered in tattoos doing the lesbian thang and Juno Temple with a quasi-English/American accent being a baby-doll Lolita.

What's there not to like? A story of nascent lesbian love...and, the monster with...possibly, a werewolf. You heard right...a werewolf - nothing quite like jumping on the bandwagon. The honest truth is there absolutely nothing to like...except for the premise.

In more capable directorial hands...the direction may not have been so patchy...in some places it looks as if terminal apathy has set in.

The silences are deafening - usually because of the inconsistent soundtrack or lack of...creating atmosphere via such gimmickry is lazy and seldom works.

For a film about young love, this is lifeless. Rigid catatonia has more energy.

Rust(y) Gray should stick to what he knows best - lesbianism not being one of them - and learn, rapidly, how to engage an audience...rather than sending them to sleep, quick style.
