CGiii Comment

The Melissa Etheridge soundtrack is hideous and detracts from what's going on - which is a pity because there are some notable performance amid the confusion - especially Astin.

It is bleak and grimy - and handled with a clumsy detachment that adds to the detachment felt by the characters.

Not a bad example for this genre.

The(ir) Blurb...

A group of teen-age runaways try to survive in the streets of Los Angeles. Drugs, prostitution, violence and bureaucratic indifference all pose threats to the kids, who nevertheless prefer this harsh life to going back to their families.
