CGiii Comment

For sure...this will split the most harmonious of families, as they settle down to watch what happened 25 years later...

Well...they [Mr Lynch & Mr Frost] needn't have bothered...

The kids won't have a clue and still won't have a clue after they watch what their parents hailed as ground-breaking, addictive television [in their day]...the bamboozling opening episode will - mercilessly - weed out the uninitiated. The second...will - bitterly - reduce the fan-base to a fraction of what it was. Only the true die-hards will get through episode 3...

Twin Peaks - 25 years ago - had a niche audience...it's unlikely that that niche will swell with fresh-faced aficionados...for this is simply an indulgence. The die-hards are [already] hailing it as a masterpiece...and, as they [the sycophantic Lynchians] are probably the only ones watching...to them, it's a masterpiece. Bless their little cotton socks!
