Grecia, a trans woman, writes a letter to her friend Jeanine. She recalls her childhood in Tijuana and her need to fit into a world that rejects her decision to transition. The world that surrounds her leads her to live on the fringes of society, selling her body as the only means of survival. Faced with brutal violence, Grecia dreams of being reunited with her friend "in a world where they don't hate us."
