It's daytime. At the "Ambasciatori", one of the last red-light cinemas in Rome, rays of light filter through the corridors and bathrooms in the darkness of the hall. Images from a porn movie scroll across the screen. Few viewers are interested in the screening. Endrit and Jari, two Albanian boys, wander among the armchairs hoping for some elderly man eager to meet. From the projection booth he observes everything Ruggiero. To escape from the boredom of his work he built a ping pong table. Every now and then, between a straight and a reverse, the regulars of the cinema pass by to greet him. Many know each other, for some that place is like a club, a recreational place that takes them away from loneliness and keeps them alive, for others it is the need to make money and survive ...
