CGiii Comment

The film follows the story of six gay men who were born in the early days of the State of Israel.

Their stories serve as the film’s backdrop for the portrayal of the clandestine, undocumented lives of homosexuals in Israel in the 1960s and ‘70s – from a time when their sexual identity was rendered illegal and a mental illness through to 1979, when a few brave gay men dared to go public and protest for their rights, thus marking the first documented chapter in the chronicled history of Israel’s gay community.
