CGiii Comment

A major disappointment.

It should have been something special...but, it is a confused, almost beautiful, mess.

There is no faulting the performances, it's the adaptation that is at fault...or, maybe, it's all been lost in translation - the translated book was a joy and it was written primarily for children...all the charm...gone.

The production values are excellent...but, all the revelations are so understated that they go by without any impact whatsoever.

A bloody shame.
