A man is found unconscious on a French beach with no identity documents and no family searching for him. He will not speak a word to anyone. On the eve of his retirement, Missing Persons detective Reuven goes to investigate the case, leaving his devoted partner Paolo back home in Paris. What Reuven doesn't know is that the mysterious man, an Israeli named Hanoch, had been following him for the last few days. What connects these two supposed strangers? The Dune is a stylishly intriguing thriller with a sensitive and nuanced portrayal of an aging gay couple.
