CGiii Comment

A mind-blowing must-see.

There is so much that can be written about this masterpiece - matter-of-fact violence, unflinching truth, a macabre humour, a bewildering naivety, a satisfying philosophy and, a divine justice.

Made by a seasoned film-maker, written by a rare intelligence.

The generation gap has never been so vividly or desperately displayed.

The Colombian tourist board will probably despise this fantastic film...how screwed a country can be.

It makes it worthwhile to sit endlessly through the dregs of insubstantial movies - when something like this comes around.

Truly - this is everything that a movie should be.

PERFECTION.

The(ir) Blurb...

The tempestuous love story between Fernando, an older man who has recently returned to his crime-ridden drug capitol hometown of Medellin, Colombia and the gun-happy 16-year-old assassin Alexis, who murders all too easily. When Alexis himself is fatally gunned down, grief-stricken Fernando hunts for his young lover's killer in the Medellin slums, but instead encounters Wilmar, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Alexis.
