Queer teenager Jay recently came out to his conservative parents and it was not well received. Ever since, he’s been stalked by a mysterious dark entity that can only attack him in sunlight. While hiding out in the shaded safety of his bedroom, Jay is visited by Dr. Reina, a conversion therapist who intends to bring him back into the light of God. When dangerous sunlight is thrust upon him, Jay has no choice but to fight for survival against the oppressive forces of Dr. Reina, his parents and the murderous supernatural entity who seems to only grow stronger in the light.
