Syd is a genius engineer in her field. She lives somewhat co-dependently in a NYC apartment with her identical twin sister, Maison. When Maison comes out as a lesbian and with a new girlfriend, a younger carefree YouTube star, Syd's entire foundation of her life becomes chaotic. When Syd realizes she could use to her advantage, her new secret invention, a portal to another universe, she seizes the opportunity to take control of her life.
