Awkward...story and directorial choices.

It is an accomplished film...technically.

The motivation behind the mother's action is a little misguided...more work on the narrative would have helped immensely...it loses itself in its own self-importance.

Explain the clothed shower scene??? It's not exactly a complex metaphor!
