Voiceless Waters (The)

Centred around the character of Durga, who stands at the threshold of youth, the film subtly critiques the prevalence of the ‘mummy’s boy’ phenomenon within Sri Lankan society. Yet, it also demonstrates how, as emotions intensify, individuals gradually move beyond such conditioning and develop the psychological strength to embrace their true feelings.
