This documentary is intended to be a look at these families, one of whose parents is a transsexual person, in the process of transition.
Generally forgotten or even denied, parenthood sheds new light and is above all opposed to the prevailing discourse based on the medicalization and moralization of an alleged individualism and an identity disorder that the subject of transsexualism has conveyed until now.
Le transparentalité aujourd’hui se veut d’un regard sur ces familles dont l’un de deux parents est une personne transsexuelle, en cours de transition.
Généralement oubliée voire niée, la parentalité pose un éclairage neuf et surtout opposé au discours ambiant fondé sur la médicalisation et la moralisation d’un prétendu individualisme et un trouble de l’identité que le sujet du transsexualisme véhiculait jusqu’à présent.
