Set on a Greek port, Always on Sunday is the first film directed by the Gay Girls Riding Club, starting off a series of future drag and camp parodies of film classics. Always on Sunday is a spoof of Jules Dassin’s Greek Classic Never on Sunday, starring Melina Mercouri.
