CGiii Comment

A $110,000,000 budget - and, not a cent invested in the writing. It stinks...of a rejected prototype that escaped the shredder.

Who is Noam Murro? A director known for leaving projects...and, most definitely, not fit for [this] purpose.

Sullivan Stapleton...as charismatic as a lettuce. As for the rest of the torsos: no acting ability necessary...just big, clean-shaven chest...and, must look good in a pair of underpants.

When blood spatter and beheadings become boring, when fight sequences turn tedious, when battleships plough into each other without calamity? Something is - most definitely - wrong.

This is a sequel made by interns and accountants...considering the budget, this is a disgrace.

The(ir) Blurb...

After its victory over Leonidas' 300, the Persian Army under the command of Xerxes marches towards the major Greek city-states. The Democratic city of Athens, first on the path of Xerxes' army, bases its strength on its fleet, led by admiral Themistocles. Themistocles is forced to an unwilling alliance with the traditional rival of Athens, oligarchic Sparta whose might lies with its superior infantry troops. But Xerxes still reigns supreme in numbers over sea and land.
