When Patrick (late 30s) hooks up with a stranger at a local cruising spot, he insists on their encounter being nothing more than a dirty secret. But after he emerges from the beat, Patrick discovers that his beloved dog is missing. Despite initial resistance, Patrick begrudgingly accepts the stranger's offer to help. Throughout the search for the dog, the two men get to know each other, and Patrick begins the painful process of finally letting down his guard.
