CGiii Comment

Just as you would expect from Van Sant - only worse.

This is his first feature and displays all the cliche-ridden crap that mars his later work - including some truly awful performances.

On this basis, it is inexplicable as to his continued success.

The(ir) Blurb...

A story of amour fou. Walt is madly in love/lust with a young illegal Mexican immigrant. However, the object of his unrequited affection doesn't even speak any English and finds Walt really strange and undesirable.
