CGiii Comment

Fatima, Queen of the Night is a set in a single day. We are transported from Cuba in the 80’s to present day, through candid flashbacks allowing Fatima to reflect on her entire life. The film follows Fatima from her early youth, allows us to understand the many reasons she’d become a transvestite, and the consequences these have had on her life as she turns 40. Fatima, Queen of the Night is a heartfelt ode to being who you are, no matter who or what you are.
