CGiii Comment

How many times can you say the word 'queer' in 40 minutes?

Well...Cara Connors and Andrew Cheng are going for the world record! He plays the [wholly irritating] funny man to her [serious] straight guy...it's excruciating to watch, even worse to listen to.

The poster shows an image by Tom of Finland...yet, he appears not in the film! Instead, there is a toxic [and nauseating] diatribe of 'queering' this and 'queering' that...My Little Pony indeed!!!

Most certainly, this is not aimed at those with a genuine interest in the subject...although, those with a genuine interest will probably watch and [instantly] recoil.

The production values...hold on, there aren't any production values...think amateur, Snowflake YouTuber in the basement with a sheet as a backdrop and a couple of flashlights masquerading as spots.

Charlie David is a voracious producer...of questionable 'quality' - with this, he has plummeted to the lowest of depths.

Surely...you can do better than this!?!

The(ir) Blurb...

Drawn this Way (wt) is a one hour television documentary which dives into the pages of gay comic book characters and their creators. In the studio, in the comic book shops, at the fan-crazed conventions, and at home with the artists - we'll find out what it means to be a Doorq, how to come out of the closet as an HGN (hot gay nerd) and where our drawn adventures will take us next. When did all this g(art) start? Is it a sexual turn-on? How did the artists get their start? What do their families and friends think? Is it pornography? Why the obsession with these fantastical stories and characters? Are they taken seriously in the mainstream comic world?
