It's 1968 and May lives with her husband, Greg (a masseuse who gives locals 'rubs') in the swanky desert home her father bought her. Bored, May has taken to writing to a lesbian stunt woman, Polly, with whom she enacts secret sexual fantasies transmitted by U.S. post. When May and Greg invite their neighbors (a painter named Sheena and a writer named Paul) over for lunch, they are all shocked beyond belief when Polly - quite literally - crashes in. Confusion and head-butting abound, launching the pack into a night of drinking, wrestling, and unexpected trysts.
