CGiii Comment

If you are a moody, vertigo-suffering, wealthy teenage lesbian who self harms and wants to be a pilot....this is the film for you.

Otherwise...you can indulge yourself in the on-screen self-indulgence and the passionless [on/off] romance. Or, watch Blue is the Warmest Colour, again - a superior film by far.

This is not the dreamy summer of young love...

Yes, it is rather pretty to look at...despite the glaring errors. The continuity is an aggravating issue! The plot-holes are gaping. Why the undeveloped subplot with the boy? Why bring in the parents when they do nothing at all?!?

Yes, it does feel as if you have spent the entire, eternal summer in the presence of these two lovebirds.

And then, it jumps two years in the last few minutes...because? Because the writer dried up!

Alanté Kavaïté should direct again, she has an eye. Alas, she should never put pen to paper again.

A contrived catatonia.
