CGiii Comment

Who would have thought that Christopher Eccleston could do [abrasive] comedy rather well?!? Well...he does.

He and the little boy are the highlights of the entire show...unfortunately, they do tend to get lost in a quagmire of irrelevance. Yes, dear hearts, the writer lost focus and meandered down many a blind alley.

There's a gay character who is...out there, with some pretty sharp retorts, he's a character that could have been developed more...instead of the sidekick he is.

There's no faulting the performances...the mother is as irritating as hell...good acting! It's a safe light drama that could have gone further...obviously, it wasn't written to challenge...more of an introduction to autism.

Watchable...light fayre. The potential for a feast was there...but, sadly, squandered.
