CGiii Comment

It has neither the humour nor the impact of the stage play.

In fact, it does tend to drag a bit...and then, without credibility, makes vast unannounced leaps into the future.

There's no faulting the acting, it's the writing that is the main problem.

It's wooden and forced...promiscuity, unrequited love, death and worry - are all covered with very little profundity.

A rather shallow film about a deep subject - it leaves you just a little disappointed (and, maybe, a little angry).

The(ir) Blurb...

A group of English gay men get together to reminisce. They are all coming from a wake for one of their circle who's died of AIDS. It's that terrifying time between the outbreak of AIDS and the development of an AIDS test and as the conversation unfolds it becomes apparent that each man there has had unprotected sex with the deceased.
