CGiii Comment

Utterly fascinating...

A personal testament, beautifully mixed with dramatic vignettes - and seamlessly put together by Praunheim - he really can do it when he tries.

Charlotte von Mahlsdorf is Germany's answer to Quentin Crisp but, unlike Crisp (and no disrespect intended), Mahlsdorf has led a truly incredible life - nothing could put this man down and they really did try.

Truly, a wonderful character study of a very brave man - few would ever do or achieve what he did in his life.
