Berlin in the 80s: seven young women decided to live their dream of autonomy to its fullest and founded the feminist, left-wing radical commune “Die Ritterinnen” (“Female Knights”). Soon enough, though, they had to face the destructive force of love, financial realities and the tiresome topic of “doing the dishes”. This autobiographic review pays tribute to an important chapter of contemporary history.
