Control, could be referred to as the eternal perversity and ambiguity of love. The layers that pile up in Control show – without exposing – marks, scars, and signatures that through a brutal gesture can change the milestones of the canon: a Rohmerian summer comedy mutates into a genre (could it be the climate?) that could equivocally quote an intimate feel closer to the also Swedish Ingmar Bergmar.
