CGiii Comment

Vicente arrives at a sinister old house in a seemingly deserted São Paulo neighborhood to interview Rodrigo Escher (Bruno Germano) - a former child star who became a recluse. Rodrigo claims that his family is cursed with everlasting good looks in exchange for complete mental deterioration - they all look handsomely young on the outside, just as their minds crumble on the inside. The curse, it seems, has recently claimed Rodrigo's sister Madalena - with whom he had an extremely close and, some might say incestuous, relationship - leading to her premature death. Enthralled by his host's stories, Vicente starts losing his sense of reality as he's drawn into the whirlpool of Rodrigo's madness - drowning in a nightmarish web of debauchery, murder, and other erotic delights from beyond the grave.
