"Deep moral dilemmas emerge when the law fails to account for the human spirit."

Dani is a 7-year-old kid whose parents are divorced. Now he only gets to spend Wednesdays and every other weekend with his father, Raúl, and his partner, Paula. Paula faces the everyday challenge to prove that she loves Dani as much as his real mother, even though she has no legal or biological bond with him. But they both have a very deep connection. Things get messy when Paula and Raúl break up and she claims her right to still spend time with Dani after the breakup. However, she will struggle with the law as Dani is not even considered her stepson. A deep moral dilemmas emerge when the law fails to account for the human spirit.
