Despite a couple of clumsy edits...all can be forgiven because of the colour palette!
This is a stunningly horrific film...homoeroticism coupled with internalised homophobia...it's a queasy mix indeed.
Directorially speaking, Seva Galkin show rather than tells...that's called damn fine direction. And, using Lascia ch'io pianga was a masterstroke!
