The short film “La Mela Bacata” (The Bad Apple) tells the story of Pamela, a high school student from Puglia, the daughter of two mothers, who is a victim of bullying and prejudice in a small provincial town. Targeted for her “different” family, she is insulted, harassed, and humiliated by her classmates, until a video of her naked face ends up online. Desperate, she writes a suicide note and commits suicide by jumping off a cliff.


Il cortometraggio “La Mela Bacata” racconta la storia di Pamela, una liceale pugliese figlia di due madri, vittima di bullismo e pregiudizi in una piccola città di provincia. Presa di mira per la sua famiglia “diversa”, viene insultata, molestata e umiliata dai compagni, fino a quando un video che la ritrae nuda finisce online. Disperata, scrive una lettera d’addio e si toglie la vita gettandosi da una scogliera.
