When traveling Bible salesman, Frank is forced to flee town from a furious prostitute and her henchman he finds himself hiding out at an old man's home in the middle of nowhere. He soon discovers that Gabe, the isolated old man living there, isn't all he seems when he forces Frank to stay on 'help out' around the property. Suddenly, for the first time in his life Frank finds himself committing to honest and meaningful work. He begins to realize that Gabe is more like him than he could have suspected and Frank starts to wonder, 'What does he really want in his heart?'.
