Joe Jones is a blue collar Dad who has struggled for years with self-loathing, inner turmoil and inner conflict due to his repressed sexuality. After his wife throws him out of the house, Joe is still unable to face the truth about himself. When his youngest son questions Joe's sexuality, Joe realizes the time has come to 'be gay'. Joe naively thinks that 'being gay' means going into a gay club and being accepted by other gay men. Joe's idea of how to accept his sexuality is called to question in this 'coming-of-age' late story.
