CGiii Comment

Where is the best place to start with Multiple Maniacs?

Erm...The end. It really is that bad. Mr Waters, we love you...but, this really is trash.

There may be the odd funny line - well-hidden - within the tortuously long conversations. There are - certainly - a few offensive scenes that will cause no controversy...because, that was then, this is now. Okay, admittedly, a faux-lesbian sex scene involving the insertion rosary beads into a certain body cavity - rarely perceived as a suitable receptacle for such a pious object -  could still be viewed as a tad risque...but, being raped by a giant faux-lobster?!?

This is yesteryear...and, not a particularly good way to introduce Divine to a new generation...all of us age, films date...that's just the way it is. Divine has gone...and, sadly, his audience is - slowly-but-surely - dwindling.

Mr Water has brought many a smile to many faces...sadly, not this time!
